What is clampi virus?

Clampi is a type of malicious software, specifically a banking trojan, that targets financial institutions and steals sensitive information such as login credentials, credit card details, and other personal information. It is also known as Ligats and Ilomo.

The virus spreads through various methods, including phishing emails, malicious websites, and exploit kits. Once installed on a victim's computer, Clampi can monitor and capture the victim's keystrokes, take screenshots, and log browsing activities.

Clampi can also spread laterally across a network, infecting other machines and servers within the same organization. This can lead to widespread data theft and financial losses for businesses.

To protect against Clampi and other similar viruses, it is important to maintain up-to-date antivirus software, practice good cybersecurity hygiene, and be cautious when clicking on links or downloading attachments from unknown sources.
